The Arthur N. Caple Foundation was created by NAGDCA in memory of one of its most outstanding members to help promising financial planning students become aware of the career opportunities with public sector retirement plans.

The ANC Foundation offers scholarship awards to junior, senior or graduate students who demonstrate academic excellence and an understanding of the issues facing public sector retirement plans. Working with the International Foundation for Retirement Education (InFRE), a 501(c)(3) retirement certification organization that Art Caple helped found, the ANC Foundation will evaluate scholarship applications from participating universities, and acknowledge scholarship winners and the universities they represent during a conference general session.
Scholarship opportunities include:
The highest award to a single student:
- $5,000 to be used toward educational expenses.
- Complimentary registration, travel and hotel accommodations for the 2018 NAGDCA Annual Conference (valued at $1,800).
- Enrollment in the Certified Retirement Counselor® (CRC®) certification program, materials and exams (valued at $900).
Additional ANC Foundation Scholarship Awards:
- Six students will receive complimentary registration, travel, and hotel accomedatons (valued at $1,800) for the 2018 NAGDCA Annual Conference.
